What is a Lyme disease check for?

Lyme disease is an infectious disease that is transmitted through tick bites.  An infection can lead to changes in the skin at the bite site, inflammation of the joints and impairment of the nervous system.  With the Lyme disease check we can check your health.  Determine the condition and thus rule out an infection.

How does the Lyme disease check work?

For the borreliosis check, I take a small amount of blood from you, which is widely examined in the laboratory.  Furthermore, I carry out additional examinations that contribute to a safe overall result.

The Lyme disease check will not be reimbursed by your health insurance company.
