Heart attack prevention

Dear patients!
Are you already 35 years old?  Then you should do a heart attack check-up!

What is a preventive heart attack check-up for?

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the western world.  This disease very often starts with damage to the arterial blood vessels, which is aggravated by risk factors such as smoking, high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes.  A timely detection of possible damage can significantly reduce your personal risk.

What does a heart attack check-up include?

The preventive heart attack check-up includes a thrill physical examination, determination of the most important laboratory parameters as well as an individual cardiovascular risk calculation.  The examination is completely painless.
An exercise ECG, a sonography of the carotid artery are performed by a cardiologist.

The preventive heart attack check-up will not be reimbursed by your health insurance company.
